Take Me to Your Tropical Paradise

Today's the kinda day when I wish I could escape to some non-stop gorgeous Caribbean island. Thank god for the virtual world & all it's virtual goodies.

This weekend there's been a flurry of group gifts from some wonderful designers. We are so lucky to have such generous & talented creators.

They are so wonderfully crafted & textured. Plus, they are scripted with a dozen different textures for both the frames & the lenses. So, you'll have endless combinations to play with & incorporate into your wardrobe. I don't usually wear glasses in SL, but these are really really excellent.

Chipping Away at the Inventory of Doom

I finally caught a few minutes to sit down with my inventory last night & catch up on the mountains of stuff I've accumulated over the last few weeks. It was getting pretty dangerous in there :/

Anyway, I found all these boxes from the Designer Showcase Network Subscriber Group (DSN) that I still hadn't opened. And, omg so much good stuff! If you haven't signed up yet, you're just being a leotard. You get presents every night from the categories you sign up for - 9 different ones in all. Tons of great shops are involved. And everything is totally 100% FREE!

Here's just a little of what I managed to unpack.

You might have noticed the cute peep-toe shoes in those pics above. Those are from Plausible Body & the Fatpack of 9 colors is on XStreet for FREE. It even comes with a pair that are scripted to color change, so you never even have to take them off your feet to match your outfits. Super duper thanks goes out to the sweetie Isadora Vayandar for tipping me off about this fabulous find! :D

Malt & Spork

So, as most of you are aware Malt opened their new sim, and to celebrate are holding a sim-wide hunt of 50L items, 10 of which are from Malt, and 5 of which are from Spork. I was interested to see what goodies they would be offering, but I was out all day as it was my birthday (This is to explain the hat in my first photo.) When I got home, I wandered the sim checking out what goods were about, and well, look on;

First off, you have two FREE opening gifts. One from Malt;

Next, I bring you a few of the hunt items. Obviously, they are 50L a piece, and it's hard to know what something looks at without buying it, and trying it on. Well, I helped you all out by creating a NC of WHAT is in each of the 15 hunt items. If you would like said NC, join The Love/Hate Hivemind and it will be in notices, or floating around elsewhere as I have passed it on. This is so you can decide if you'd like to spend the 50L on the hunt items, by looking at what it is in the stores. That is how I made my mind up and purchased the follow four items, for a sweet deal!

A lot of people were completely turned off by a 50L hunt, because you all expect things to be free. Look at the quality of these items? If you are too stingy to pay 50L for a SET of items that would avarage 150+ individually, then I pity you, frankly. I am so glad I made a NC to help myself and others in this hunt, and I'm even more glad I purchased what I did, that I may go back and get a few of the other items.

And no, I did not purchase any of the 5 Spork items, so sorry I can't show you those. Like I said, the NC I made will aid you in know what everything is before you buy.

Hair - This has to be, my favorite hair now.. hand down. As most of you ought to know by now, the brand Maeva is rebranding to Pacadi, and if you stay a part of their SoM not only will you be kept up to date on the changes, but you will sometimes recieve some gorgeous gifts such as this amazing hair. I haven't taken it off since I recieved it and I just love it. It's made so well, and it's brown! No offense blondies, but you guys get all the free hair, it's our turn now! Hop into Spring!

Today, I bring you a Bunny Hop review, and in particular, I bring you Spork.



When I unpacked this number, and put it on, I grimaced as I'm not a fan of pink, but I love how playful it is. It embodies the light, gorgeous season of spring, but in a chic and fashionable way. I didn't want to take it off, but I was sorting, so I had to! I think SL is begining to turn me on to the color Pink. A+ Spork <3


I have to be a geek for a moment and admit that this dress remind me of when I was younger (I'm not too old mind you, my birthdays tomorrow though!) when I'd spin in circles and fall in the grass, or watch the hem of my skirts spread like I was some sort of princess. I love that feeling, and now I love this dress. I even spin like that now at ___ age. :D Geek out.
