Last night Barb posted a plurk asking people if they wanted to participate in a Red Cross fundraising event in SL. 24 hours and dozens of contributors later, more than $200,000L has been raised. To up the stakes even more, many of today's $50L Friday designers have pledged the proceeds from at least one of their items. In addition, there is an entire skybox filled with all kinds of exclusive goodies. And every single last little Linden dollar is going directly to the Red Cross! Let's get to the fashion! I'm totally digging the jacket in the top picture, from So Many Styles. It's really wonderfully crafted. You can purchase this right at the shop. The RunoRuno top in the 2nd picture can be found at the Red Cross skybox. Runo's fluid and organic shapes never cease to impress. It's a steal for $50L. For a bit more than that you can grab the special edition jewelry set I made for this event, from my shop *Ticky Tacky*. It's packed with options and it's pretty badass, so don't miss it! The hair is from the sale at the new Aden satellite shop at Starlust. All the hair is $50L, and this style features a tight little bun with a texture changing headscarf.

Clawtooth by Clawtooth has been rocking my world a little too much lately and this flaming red flip 'do leaves me a little breathless. The fact that this is CBC's Red Cross item only makes me love it more. Find it at the shop. Fishy Strawberry's Red Cross item also kicks some major ass. This perfect red, 3/4-sleeve top has adorable angel wing decals on the back. This is available at the Red Cross skybox. The skins used in this post are from the ongoing sale at Dutch Touch. I've rhapsodized about these before. No clue when the sale might end, so get them while you can. The poses in this post come from Long Awkward Pose and Penny Dreadful Arcade. One of the big jaw-droppers this week is the admiral vest from Milk Motion. So many of us bargain hunters have visited the shop in the past and been able to do little more than pet the vendor and cry inside. Tonight we got to wipe those tears away for good and score this little piece of virtual fabulosity for just $50L! Don't miss your chance to grab it, too! The jeans are another great score from Kenzie & Co. Kenzie has just restocked her Lucky Chair with a ton of new items, among them, this classic pair of skinny blue jeans. The chair is set to just 5 minutes, but there's so much stuff in it, you're going to need to call up all your girlfriends and camp out. Totally worth it!

The other big name on the shopping list this week is Kookie. While we wished for shoes, a few of us shook that idea off as just a fantasy. Leave it to Kookie to make a girl's shoe fantasy come true! This studded pair comes with both strap & strapless versions. Another stunner this week, the waist jacket from Fishy Strawberry. I didn't expect to like this as much as I do. It's scripted not just for resize, but texture change as well, offering up 15 different options. So, it's totally unisex and can match a ton of different outfits, not to mention the wonderful quality of the sculpt & the richness of the textures. $50L is a small price to pay for such a worthy wardrobe investment. The necklace from Kunsthammer makes me a little sick with jealousy. I wanted to make something just like this, but the ridiculously talented designer Nuala Shippe beat me to it and did a much better job than I could ever dream of accomplishing. Damn she's good! It's a perfect classic jewelry piece - you absolutely need it. And to top off this wallet wilting weekend shopping, a fatpack of poses from Long Awkward Pose. The Panty Raid is a sim-wide hunt. You're looking for teeny little gold clams stuffed with goodies. They are either FREE or $1L & they are everywhere! You've got like 8 or 9 sims to search & at least a hundred little clams to find. No one knows the exact total and some clams are stuffed with piles of panties. And it's not even all just panties, either. You'll find everything from thongs to furniture. There are even unisex & men's items, too. So no one is left out!

The top is the latest group gift from Tuli. The pants are a Lucky Chair Prize from Kosh, and I'm pretty sure they're Unisex. The pin is a Mayor McCheese '09 button that I picked up at the new Elliot Sim, outside the Ken's Store, near the Happy Meal (also FREE). The pose is from Long Awkward Pose & was - I think - part of one of the hunt prizes in last year's Poop Hunt. Designer Dove Swanson hinted today that she might revive that hunt again this year & I'm totally praying that she does! And, lastly, the Lego Head is from Paper Street Soap Co. I got it while searching for the Slice of Summer Hunt prize, which I never managed to find. The place was so laggy & I was clicking things randomly so I'm not sure if I got it from some kind of scripted giver, or if it was a result of my crazy clicking. Either way, it's adorable & I'm not taking it off for the rest of the night.
