The sim where I went on my first hunt (Easter 2008), bought my first Lindens, and fell in love with SL fashion... It will all go poof after this Monday, April 12th. The only way I could think to pay my respects was to share some of my favorite things that I bought there over the years.

The dress in the first picture is from Artilleri and it's still a stunner of a piece. I mean, really - skintight strapless, zebra print dress - that's just foreverhot. The dress in the last picture, from Icing, is its polar opposite. While, it too is a classic design, it is instead all sweet and innocent.

The dress in the center picture is from Thimbles and it's the very first dress I ever bought in SL. The hat is from Split Pea and it's just so fun to wear. You can get both pieces, along with everything else in both Thimbles and Split Pea for just $25L - only at Retrology - until the sim closes. Good time to stock up!! :D

The outfit in the picture below is a Group Gift, pre-release from Pig and can only be found in the notices of the Purveyors of Accidental Love Group. The group was founded by Izzy of PDA Poses (now closed) and promises to be a place for random gifts. All of the jewelry and accessories used in this post can be found at the Accessory Fair. The set in the top pic is my favorite new release from Bliesen + MaiTai. The pearl necklace in the second pic is from Crystal Line, the bracelet is part of a set from IrEn and the hair flower is a slightly modded version from Haunted Zuzu. The nails in that picture are from MStyle. I have to admit, prior to getting these, I was dead-set against prim nails. 99% of the time they look really hideous, gaudy and/or claw-like to me. But some friends tried these and raved, and so I needed to give them a shot. And, OMG, they were right! The MStyle nails turned out to be a perfect fit and actually look pretty natural. I'm loving them and am sold for good on the brand.

The headband in the third pic is one of the new releases from Split Pea. You know I'm a sucker for some Split Pea feathers... The ring is from !SyDS! and it's ridiculously affordable. The earrings in that pic, plus the bracelets and necklace in the final picture are all from Zaara's. Who in their right mind can resist anything from Zaara's, let alone some finely crafted jewelry? Her texture work and design innovation never cease to inspire me. Each of these pieces is like a little master class on how to make awesome.

The pose in that final picture is from Striking Poses. If you haven't heard, the designer is leaving SL, closing her shop and selling her sim. There is no telling if she or her enormous body of work will ever return, so RUN. NOW! Go buy everything that isn't nailed down and be quick about it! I've heard the sim sale has gone through, so everything will be going poof very very soon!

This week saw the return of several favorites as well as some new entries. Among them, Casa Del Shai, who offered up a full-length backless gown. Woot! Another surprise - a skin from 5th & Oxford, complete with bloody vampy lips. And to top it off, a set of hair from Lamb that includes both a bleach blonde shade and a pitch black, with red streaks (pictured above).

The fabulous leggings are from the house of fabulous, Royal Blue. And they look great with that jacket from Milk Motion that was just $50L a few weeks ago. They come with an embedded pose that holds the mask in front of your face, and each face on the mask blinks! XD Too cute!!

It's got everything from shoes to hair, and this jewelry set proves the designer is remarkably talented at damn well everything.

The top from This is a Fawn doubles as a mini dress, and this deep red color is pitch perfect. The pants from Pig are unisex and are versatile enough to work with so many outfits that they're a must for your shopping list this week. All of the poses used in this post come from the fatpack at Penny Dreadful Arcade. There's only one set this time, but it's filled with great ones! I swear these kids get better and better with every release. This set is a clear favorite for me. Enough drama, tension & 'fashion' to make a spazzed out Tyra proud.

The latest Cioccolata/Albero Mall Fair is on, and, if you haven't been yet, you're looking for the gumball machines all around the center, both upstairs & downstairs at Cioccolata. Lots of different shops have filled up each machine with a bundle of fabulously fun prizes. Simply pay each machine its asking price (typically $10-35L) & it randomly delivers you a prize. Yes, you can get doubles. But, since most everything is set to no copy/trans okay, you can trade your extras or pass them on to friends as gifts! The variety & quality are truly excellent. You can find such great stuff for cheap cheap cheap! Just be careful - those machines are addictive! XD

The Panty Raid is a sim-wide hunt. You're looking for teeny little gold clams stuffed with goodies. They are either FREE or $1L & they are everywhere! You've got like 8 or 9 sims to search & at least a hundred little clams to find. No one knows the exact total and some clams are stuffed with piles of panties. And it's not even all just panties, either. You'll find everything from thongs to furniture. There are even unisex & men's items, too. So no one is left out!

Indie Rock for RFL Carnival

The Relay for Life Campaign is still going! And the Indie Rock for RFL group has come up with a fantastic way to raise some serious money. This weekend, they have set up a full carnival across 2 sims, filled with every ride and game imaginable, along with non-stop parties, dancing and raging hot music! There's even a beach, boardwalk, dune buggies and loads more to see and do!

And the RFL exclusives are amazing! These are some of the hottest designers on the grid, with some of the best goodies - all at affordable prices. Outfit your avatar from head to toe with slammin' creations you can't find in stores. And every last Linden goes to support a great cause! Not even the DJs are taking tips.
